Draft guidelines on a nationally consistent approach to collecting information for contact tracing
The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), together with OVIC and other privacy regulators around Australia, has developed draft guidelines to ensure the consistent protection of personal information when businesses collect contact information for contact tracing.
The OAIC is seeking submissions on the draft guidelines by 5pm Friday 4 December 2020.
