VISN forum – Incident Insights

OVIC invites you to a Victorian Information Security Network (VISN) event exploring insights drawn from the upcoming release of the Information Security Incident Insights Report. Organisations are encouraged to use the insights within these reports to inform their own information security risk assessments.

This report provides a summary and analysis of the information security incident notifications received by OVIC between 1 July to 31 December 2025.

The VISN session will feature members of OVIC’s Information Security Unit presenting on trends and themes from the past 6 months of incident notifications. You will also have the opportunity to hear from our guest speaker Dr Carl A Gibson, Executive Director Risk, Resilience, and Transformation at Executive Impact, who will be exploring observations from high threat incidents and the impacts on situational awareness.
