Association of Information Access Commissioners meet in New Zealand

The Association of Information Access Commissioners (AIAC) met in Wellington, New Zealand on 7 and 8 December 2022 for its second bi-annual meeting.

Members discussed the evolution of the right to access information, and noted the 40 year anniversary of legislation that enables public access to government information.

Members also discussed access to government information in the 21st century, including the importance of systems, cultures, and record keeping.
