VISN forum: Preparing for the 2026 Protective Data Security Plan

OVIC invites you to the first Victorian Information Security Network (VISN) event for 2026. During the online forum, OVIC’s Information Security Unit (ISU) will:

  • provide a deep dive into the updated 2026 Protective Data Security Plan (PDSP) form
  • highlight changes to the 2026 How-to Guide: Completing the PDSP
  • promote the release of the VPDSS Implementation Guidance V2.4
  • answer questions regarding reporting in 2026.

The ISU will be using Microsoft Teams Q&A and chat features to address any comments or questions from the audience.

For our Class B Cemetery Trust and Committees of management of Crown land reserve stakeholders, OVIC’s ISU will be hosting a separate VISN event to help guide you through the tailored 2026 reporting documents and supporting resources.

Audience: Information Security Leads, VPS practitioners, agency staff, industry stakeholders and partners.

 

Registrants will receive an email from OVIC with more information and a link to join the session the day prior to the forum. When entering the MS Teams meeting, please use the exact name you registered with, as OVIC reserves the right to not admit those who have not registered for the session.
