Secrecy and Confidentiality in a Time of Openness

Our first 2019 Information Access Series Seminar on 14 February 2019 presented by our Acting General Counsel, Bryan Wee will examine the use of the secrecy provision under section 38 of the FOI Act This session will examine: important factors to be considered when used it is used in conjunction with secrecy provisions in other legislation; recent cases; and the challenges in applying secrecy provisions.

This session is for VPS agency staff and FOI practitioners and is designed to also meet Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements for practising Government Lawyers.
