Information Access Series: High Conflict Institute

On Thursday 27 April from 12-1pm, OVIC will be hosted a webinar delivered by Megan Hunter from the High Conflict Institute which is designed to help FOI practitioners across the Victorian public sector improve their interactions with applicants, complainants or clients with high conflict tendencies when handling FOI requests.

The webinar will focus on understanding what drives people with high conflict tendencies into conflict and how to best manage and adapt in those interactions to achieve positive outcomes. The session will further look at the risk and impact of vicarious trauma on FOI practitioners and provide practical strategies to mitigate or address this occupational challenge. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A at the end.

If you have a specific question or scenario you would like addressed during this session, please feel free to provide these in advance via our Slido link and these will be anonymously incorporated.
