Ethics, AI and Unintended Consequences (SOLD OUT)
There has been much talk of the need for focus on ethics in AI development and automated decision making. And there’s no doubt we can benefit from attention to ethics in all program development. But an ethical framework on its own will not reduce the risk of unintended consequences in development and deployment of technology.
This talk will look at the range of issues that influence the use of technology in government and business and how we might develop a better way of delivering technology-enabled services.
